It contains some of the best portrait photographs I have taken during my most recent travels to far-away places.

 

Most of the portraits are candid photographs, and my subjects have not beforehand been aware of being photographed.

I prefer this strategy to avoid a posed appearance and to obtain a relaxed and natural expression.

All photographs are taken with a Sony NEX 5 camera, with a 18-200mm zoom lens, and edited in Photoshop and/or Picasa.
